I created Disconnect to Connect in 2019 after seeing firsthand the effects technology had on my generation's social skills and mental health. By participating in the Miss America Opportunity, I educate people on the importance of human connection without the use of technology. I love volunteering with children and in my community, where I help make a difference. This Community Service Initiative has taught me so much about connection, and I hope to share all of that information with you as well!
